OTOC Australia in conjunction with Juwi Renewable Energy completed the $40M DeGrussa solar power project which uses innovative solar diesel hybrid technology to reduce both operating costs and CO2 emissions.

The innovative project is the largest integrated off-grid solar and battery storage facility in Australia. Joint venture partner solar engineering company juwi, were responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of the solar power facility. OTOC Australia installed the nearly 4,700 pile supports and over 30,000 solar PV panels.

All civil works, Installation of solar tracking system, electrical cabling and installation of a 6MW lithium-ion battery storage facility was also part of the work for OTOC Australia.
